We're building a product that will be used by millions!Fyndiq is Sweden's largest online-marketplace for bargain products, now on our way to enter new markets outside Sweden! In order to do this we've built a new platform that will enable us to run our business on a larger scale. As a Backend developer at Fyndiq you'll play a key role in defining the technologies and tools we use in our platform, in that you have a huge impact on our journey towards international markets

Your purpose is to:

• Explore, define and develop new technologies and architecture as well as re-evaluate existing ones to constantly improve our new platform and make it ready for millions of users
• Bring ideas and requirements to delivery while working in a cross functional development team.
• Contribute to delivering a great product through the backend community - sharing knowledge and learning from others.

To succeed in this role you have:

• Excellent development skills focused on backend, 5+ years of experience
• Proven track record in building complex systems
• Solid development skills in several language, preferable Python,Java or Scala.
• A Proactive , solution thinking mindset

Bonus points you might have:

• Experience of running microservices in the cloud
• Event sourcing and CQRS patterns
• Apache Kafka or Elasticsearch experience
