We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate PCAOB Data Analyst to join our growing Capital Markets- Internal Controls IT + AI team. About Us
Capital Markets- Internal Controls IT + AI is a fast-growing department full of opportunities for any professional looking to kick-start a career in analytics.

Capital Markets is part of KPMG Deal Advisory which consists of four departments: Capital Markets, Transaction Services, Deal Strategy, and Corporate Finance. As a team Capital Markets takes on a wide range of assignments within our four service lines: IPO & ESG readiness, Deal Accounting, US Capital Markets, and Internal Controls IT + AI.

The Capital Market's Internal Controls IT + AI team is a cross­ functional team specializing in U.S. PCAOB IT Audit, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation technologies.

In addition, the team works across other departments and projects participating in the development of data-driven digital solutions, automation, and robotics for KPMG. We are a diverse and international team with members from multiple countries from all continents with backgrounds in IT, law, economics, and engineering.

Your responsibilities

- Lead and manage complex data analysis projects, including data collection, cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and audit processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Design and build dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data analytics tools and technologies within KPMG global network and externally and identify opportunities to leverage them within the team.
- Mentor and coach junior team members and contribute to the overall development of the team.

As a successful candidate you will have a combination of the following:

- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on financial data
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and patterns in data
- Proficiency in SQL Server and Python, with experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with data mining, machine learning, and other advanced analytics techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data analysis findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Holds relevant accredited qualification (e.g., U.S CPA, CISA, CAP, CAML, etc).
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, or mathematics.
