The company is headquartered in central Stockholm and all development is made in-house. There is alot happening in the online gaming area, and their mission is to provide the best internet gaming solutions, using cutting edge technology, entertaining visuals, thought-through user experience and expertise. The company provides a dynamic work environment with approximately 140 employees. Nu Creatives is helping them find a senior artist for the graphics team.
Responsibilities
A senior artist is a talented graphic designer with illustration skills (in terms of being able to easily show an idea). You will work with creating original game graphics/interfaces to be implemented in flash. You will work closely with the lead artist and developers to produce the best possible gaming solutions. Your job is also to retain the vision set by the art director/product owner. At this company, there is alot of space for ideas and new development and in this role, you are expected to meet the art director with your teams ideas and visions. You will also manage contact with external suppliers.
Experience and Skills
At least 5 years' experience from working with graphic design
High-level experience from photoshop and Illustrator
Good knowledge of graphics creation and animation in Flash
Excellent grasp of typography and color theory
Strong traditional 2D sketching and composition skills
A holistic feel for design/art style that allows it to remain consistent throughout an interface.
Ability to adapt to different artistic styles as needed in various projects.
Good level of English language
Experience from After Effects, zBrush and modelling & animation in Maya is each added value
Attributes
Ability to enjoy iterating and brainstorming within a team environment of various disciplines.
Self-motivation, good communication skills and a great teamplayer attitude.
