We are looking for a Senior Application manager for an IT system to support our products in the service provisioning area.

TeliaSonera Business Area Broadband Services (BA BS) is offering the Smart Home solution, based on IP. Growth focus is on mass market services for connecting homes and offices and for home communication. The business area also includes wholesale and international carrier business. BA BS has a strong market position in the Nordic Baltic area as markets leaders in Sweden, Estonia and Lithuania, number two in Finland and with strong footprints in Norway and Denmark.
The position will be placed in Provisioning, in Broadband Technology Solutions. Provisioning Unit is responsible for OSS applications in the delivery process. The area is supporting the traditional POTS services as well as state of the art services such as IMS and other IP-based services for all markets.
Job description
This is a role where you will deal with both management and development in the IT system. The tasks can vary and include the following activities depending on the nature of the mission:
• Translate business requirements to technical and functional specifications
• Prepare and administer requirements from business side and transfer to developer and make sure that solution meets demands on functionality, quality and economy
• Review and approve the specifications and technical documents
• Manage pre studies, development projects and assignments
• Plan and manage of system releases including coordination of development and maintenance
• Participate/be responsible for test of releases
• Support business negotiations with technical competence
• Follow up development from our suppliers / partners
• Secure that the quality of developed solution is accepted and documented before released to production
• Work to ensure that processes, work practices and procedures are followed and developed as needed
Qualifications
• University education from a relevant field
• Minimum of 3-4 years experience in IT system development, project management and/or quality assurance with strong emphasis on structured work flows within large companies
• Experience in translating business requirements into clear requirements definition and system solutions
• Skilled in IP communication and IP network technologies
• Experience in developing specifications, design / solution proposals and acceptance testing
• Skilled in IP /DSL provisioning processes and products
• Experience in procurement of systems
• Understanding of financial monitoring and IT security
• Fluent in Swedish and English
