hela Sverige Do you want to work with core banking / insurance systems? We are looking for an experienced person that will help us maintain and future proof our databases and associated Windows based core systems.
In ICA Banken we onwardly develop, in house, our Windows based core banking platform running retail banking with over 1 million customers as well as a small corporate bank. This platform is written and deployed on Microsoft technologies. We also have an Insurance core system that is vendor supplied and resides in the same technologies.
Your future job
You will be part of the ICA Banken Windows development team. You will mainly be working with mentioned team and also others incide ICA Banken as well as external partners.
You will maintain our in house developed core banking system and MS SQL databases.
We need someone who make sure our databases are secure, compliant, optimised and effective.
In addition your skills will be leveraged to assist in analysis and optimization of the vendor supplied Insurance application.
You will most likely be on-call 24/7 one week per month.

Who are you?
You have a proactive approach, outside the box thinking, analytic, solution based, team player, structured, capable of making and justifying decisions and are calm under pressure. You are not a procrastinating individual.
You have finished gymnasium and are a senior specialist working with Microsoft SQL Database Development.
You must have experience in:
SQL Server 2019 experience with technical abilities, including
Multi instance databases (always available environments)
Data transfer between instances
Backups and troubleshooting
SQL Agent Jobs, scheduling etc
Staying current
Database tuning including
Code reviewing all scripts produced by developers, therefore SQL expertise
Optimizing indexes for performance and storage, compression, padding etc.
Optimizing stored procedures and user functions
Optimizing low level structure of the tables, including disk areas, partitioning etc
Optimizing data caching
You should have experience in:
SQLServer SSIS packages
Moving data between instances and data cleansing
Data archiving from live databases
IIS management, configuration, installation etc
Certificate management experience
Azure
Portal management
Server management experience. Building azure servers, replicating them etc
SQL Azure experience
Staying current
It is nice if you have experience in:
Banking experience
MS SQL - Life cycling live databases
C# development (SSIS)
Reporting experience from a TPS database
Kibana
Splunk
Relic
C# experience (Application)
WebAPI development
WCF configuration and troubleshooting
You must be able to communicate in English, fluent in speech and writing.
Work place is located in Sweden; Solna and Borås. You must have a Swedish personal ID number or work permission within EU.
