Our Application Consultants play a key role in contributing to the growth of business within their regions, whilst providing essential post-sales product support, training and customer set-up for AVEVA applications. They act as the face of AVEVA to resolve any queries or required developments for our market leading software, working with internal and external customers. The Senior Application Consultant will be working as an integral part of the TPS ERM Team. The TPS ERM team follow and support AVEVA ERM (and other associated products) from Product Development to Customer deployment and feedback.
The Senior Application Consultants within the TPS ERM Team are required to:
• Use their industry experience to ensure AVEVA ERM products are fit for purpose
• Help create and maintain training collateral for AVEVA ERM products
• Contribute to and carry out training for regional business units
• Work with AVEVA Commercial/Support Teams regarding ERM customer issues and requirements, setting priorities and delivering solutions/resolutions
• Work with ERM customers regarding current issues and future requirements in relation to new industry processes and practices
• Work with Product Development/Product Strategy Teams regarding requirements, priorities, deliverables and content of future AVEVA ERM software
• Work and communicate as part of an integral team
• Hands on experience within several/all areas of the typical EPC's business process related to:
• Management of Project Catalogues and Specifications
• Project Engineering Material Control (From estimates to final quantities, Cost Control)
• EPC Project - Procurement and Supply Chain (Procurement, Logistics)
• EPC project - Construction management and control of materials on site
• A minimum of 5 years' experience working within the EPC industry or technical 'hands on' experience in one or more relevant industry sectors: Oil & Gas, Marine & Offshore, Power, Chemicals, Mining & Minerals, Pulp & Paper, and in all the 'Job dimensions and Responsibility Areas' mentioned above
• Experience of delivering software solutions in a services organisation or within a global EPC support role would be an advantage
• Good awareness of the AVEVA ERM product or similar ERP software
• An ability to communicate product issues between customers and colleagues
• An ability to think quickly and react positively to quickly evolving or unexpected scenarios
• An ability to manage and handle multiple commitments simultaneously
• An ability to document and communicate in English to a very high standard
• Comfortable to deliver presentation material to a variety of audiences
• An ability to take a proactive approach to challenges while meeting a responsibility to deliver
