Accounting at NASDAQ OMX in Stockholm supports several of our European offices with all matters related to payroll, AP and AR. The team consists of 17 people and we are now looking to strengthen our team further with a Senior AP Accountant.
You will focus on a number of our European companies, like Germany, France and UK, and be responsible for all AP related matters for them, like accruals and ledger bookings, and application of internal control procedures. Apart from that you will also handle intercompany invoices and netting, and the automation of the payment process for new entities. With your seniority you will be a speaking partner to colleagues both within and outside your department and you will work to improve existing accounting procedures and be involved in specific projects within the team and business area. The responsibility for making sure our processes and routines are properly documented is also part of your job.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an educational background in Accounting, Finance or equivalent from university or high school (Swedish: gymnasieekonom). You have at least 7-8 years of relevant experience from accounting in an international environment with focus on AP. You have very good knowledge of VAT for import of goods and services and experience from dealing with multiple companies and various systems with many interfaces, PeopleSoft is preferable. Excellent skills in English and Swedish, both oral and written are required, as is good skills in Excel.

That you are a self-motivated person with great attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work towards tight deadlines is a given.
