The department Electrical Systems Design is responsible for the entire electrical system. Electrical Systems Design consists of seven sections. The department is a part of Electrics/Electronics & E-Propulsion (EEEP) within Volvo Car's Research and Development (R&D) division. Currently we are approximately 200 employees.
The A&V Base tech verification today includes 15 persons. We are responsible for the Analyze and Verification of the base technology and integration testing in all car projects.
You establish and develop relationships with designers within almost all system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the HW designs within those areas. In this position you will therefore build and maintain a wide personal network within R&D. You have degrees of freedom to form your deliveries and to develop your own skills, both technically as well as in the area of leadership.

Main responsibilities
You are responsible for creation of new and update existing Design & Verification Method's to cover the complete requirement set.
• You are responsible for coordination, planning and timing of the DVM's to support the ongoing car projects.
• You execute tests in complete vehicle or boxcars/HIL rigs.
• You represent the team in discussions with requirement owners
Required qualifications
• At least a B.Sc. grade within electronics, physics or a similar education
• Documented at least one year of testing experience
• Driver's license
You are even more qualified for this position if you have experience from:
