By joining Xbrane, you will be part of a biopharmaceutical drug development company with the goal to ensure the access of biologics to an underserved patient population, enabling global health equality.
The Analytical team at Xbrane plays an important role in giving analytical support to the process development, product characterization and stability testing in product development. As Senior Analytical Specialist, in the team, you will be responsible for analytical method development and method validation, you will also design, perform and evaluate experiments and experimental data. You will give analytical expertise to the product development team to ensure innovative and adequate analytical methods to verify drug product during process development. Responsibilities more in detail are:
Responsibilities:
• Expand the analytical capabilities of the team by introducing new instruments and develop analytical methods
• Plan and perform analyses to support in-house process development and protein characterization
• Write study plans and reports
• Purchase and maintenance of analytical equipment
• Contribute to the development of analytical methods which will be used for Drug Substance and Drug Product quality control.
• Keep up with research and development relevant for successful analysis of biosimilar products.
Qualification:
• BSc, MSc or PhD degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Experience of the development and analysis of biopharmaceuticals, in particular monoclonal antibodies and related molecules
• Experience in one/or several of the below presented field of analytical methods:
• * Protein characterization with the following analytical techniques; HPLC, SDS-PAGE, CE, IEF, cIEF
• * Detection methods for process related impurities such as HCP by ELISA and host cell DNA by RT-PCR, working with binding assays using SPR technology
• Experience of working in a GMP regulated environment
• Experience of method validation of analytical methods
