The Gel Analytical Development team, a part of Product Development in Uppsala, is responsible for research, development and scale up of medical devices within Aesthetics. To this positive and engaged group of 14 people we are now looking for a Senior Analytical Chemist.
The role
As Analytical Chemist, you will plan and perform analytical tasks and you will evaluate and discuss the results. Work is performed according to regulatory requirements (ISO 13485 and GMP) and is often conducted in project form. You will work to solve advanced analytical tasks and develop new analytical methods. You will perform analysis of products, API's, intermediates and raw materials using different analytical techniques.

Requirements
We believe that you have an education within analytical chemistry (either PhD or similar experience) and additional experience from working in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
We think that you have the following skills and competences:

Proficiency within mass spectrometry, preferably coupled to GC
*
Excellent skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
*
Experience from method development and validation.
*
Familiarity with interpreting pharmacopeial- and ISO-standards.
*
Fluency in Swedish and English
As a person you are ambitious and goal oriented. You are organized and work independently.
