The company owns approximately 1Bn SEK of rental assets (fleet) globally which need to be managed professionally to ensure its rental business is operating efficiently as possible. These assets need to be continually reviewed in terms of volume, additions, retirements, transfers and maintenance as well as their financial performance.
This is an exciting new role where you will have a global overview from a product point of view regarding the logistics flow and fleet optimization of the rental fleet. Located at the global HQ you will be close to major stakeholders and management of the organization.
This role will be a part of our Supply chain and Operations team.
In this position you will control the fleet on our balance sheets centrally.
Other important responsibilities and tasks will be:
• Ensuring accurate financial and operational reporting of rental assets at a country level to consolidate centrally for functional reporting.
• Ensuring the fleet is managed as efficiently as possible in terms of additions and retirements.
• Prepare, own and manage the global fleet replacement plan.
• Work closely with S&OP and the factories to level out demand for global fleet additions.
• Balance rental supply and demand, peaks and troughs over a medium term time horizon
• Prepare and continually review "repair vs replace" calculations and make necessary fleet changes as required
We believe that the right candidate has:
• Bachelor degree in Business Management or equivalent.
• 7 to 10 years of business operations work experience.
• Experience of managing multiple balance sheets containing a high number of working assets as well as performing business-related analyses and communicating results to management.
• High level of proficiency with MS Excel; proficiency with other Windows-based applications
• Experience with change management, communications and training
• Understanding of transportation and distribution services
• Experience from working with is beneficial.
• Previous experience of rental fleet and/or rental / leasing industries would be beneficial
• Knowledge of SAP & M3 ERP platforms would be beneficial
The successful Senior Analyst, Rental Operations, would likely be a strategically agile person with strong analytic and coordinating skills. In this role you will have extended contacts with different stakeholders in the organization, thus you will need to have excellent communication and presentation skills. You are described as an influential person who can easily make decisions together with co-workers and stakeholders in your organization. You also have a drive for solving problems with a creative touch.
