hela Sverige Job Description & SummaryCurrently, we are looking for senior analysts with 2-3 years of experience in data analytics and/or financial modelling from a prominent consultancy firm, investment bank, corporate finance department or a corporate development role at an industrial corporation or similar.A career within Deals Analytics will give you the opportunity to analyze companies and help clients in turning complex data sets into business intelligence.You will get the opportunity to work with a broad range of industries and companies, including private equity, industrial corporations and the financial sector. You will enhance your financial modelling skills and learn new tools to structure big data.You will be part of a young and ambitious team, which forms part of the larger unit PwC Deals/Corporate Finance. You will be working with different teams across PwC Deals and will regularly face clients. You are expected to be a driven, problem solving team player, with strong interest and skills in financial modelling, eager to take on new challenges.ResponsibilitiesResearch and implement suitable techniques to solve client problems and deal with data availability, quality or accuracy. Link and integrate multiple data sets, potentially from multiple systems to bring deal insights.Develop statistical and mathematical models that help solve client's business issues in a way that complements traditional analysis. Visualize and communicate complex concepts and their business benefits to senior management (both internally and externally) from a range of backgrounds and business areas. Be involved in business development activities to research new business opportunities and contribute to development of the team's technical acumen, e.g. application of new tools. Train and lead more junior team members.Promote the PwC brand, e.g. in student events.QualificationsMasters' degree in industrial management, engineering physics or similar engineering degree, alternatively a master's degree in finance or economics from a prominent business school. 2-3 years' experience in data analytics and/or financial modelling. Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and team working skills. Proficiency in financial Excel-modelling is a requirement. Experience in Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI is desired. Practical knowledge of a programming language like: Java, C/C++/C#, or Python and/or statistical packages such as R, SPSS or SAS is meriting. Advanced level of English.
