We are now looking for an experienced 'Senior Analyst and Assistant Project Manager - Decarbonisation of energy-intensive Industries ' who wants to join a dedicated and diverse team and drive sustainable change.
Senior Analyst and Assistant Project Manager - Decarbonisation of energy-intensive Industries
As an 'Senior Analyst and Assistant Project Manager - Decarbonisation of energy-intensive Industries ', you will conduct pre-studies and projects with our customers and partners who are active within e.g., the limestone, cement, steel, and pulp- and paper industries. You will play a crucial role in assessing the techno-economics of potential project and sketch out a decarbonisation strategy.
Key responsibilities:
The role will require a motivated, dynamic, and commercially focused individual with a strong technical background to perform following tasks:
Conduct pre-studies in collaboration with customers to assess the feasibility of implementing our decarbonisation technology into their existing processes
Develop and present comprehensive reports, including technical and economic viability assessments, cost-benefit analyses, and recommendations
Develop strategy for the carbon dioxide arising out of lime and cement manufacturing process by analysing different CCS and CCU options
Research and interpret EU regulations for renewable targets in industry, maritime and aviation, emission classifications and CO2 taxes, future trends and assess its impact on customer business
Build knowledge and subject-matter expertise through independent research and peer learning
Conduct market research to help assess the potential for our technology, potential clients, partners, and emerging competing technologies
Assist the commercial team in qualifying the leads with technical inputs and responding to customer queries
Present SaltX and its decarbonisation technology to potential customers in conferences

Qualifications:
To thrive at SaltX we believe that it is important that our values correlate with yours. We also believe that you have the following qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering, with focus on sustainability and/or renewable energy
At least 5 years' experience in industrial decarbonisation
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, summarising and quantitative reasoning skills
Good communication skills: writing (for research reports) and speaking (for presentations at conferences or to clients)
Experience working with energy-intensive industries like chemicals, limestone, cement, steel, and pulp- and paper industries in Europe and Asia
Working knowledge of EU ETS and industrial carbon accounting
Knowledge of carbon capture and sequestration/utilisation technologies
Knowledge of energy storage systems like thermal as well as thermochemical energy storage, battery storage and hydrogen
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Sales CRM like Pipedrive is a plus
