Job Description
The Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall's Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro renewable activities like Solar and Batteries. Our offshore wind business is amongst the top players globally and we have just inaugurated the world's first subsidy free offshore wind farm Hollandse Kust Zuid. Our offshore wind portfolio consists at present of 4,6 GW installed capacity and an ambitious development pipeline either under construction or in pre-construction. It is our clear ambition to continue to profitably grow our offshore wind business in the future, and help Vattenfall succeed on its road to fossil freedom.

Vattenfall is looking for a solution-oriented, goal-driven person, who shares our passion for building a sustainable society and energy landscape. As Senior Advisor you will report to the Head of Strategic Projects, a strategic oriented CFO function.
As Senior Advisor Strategic- & Change Communication you will be responsible for all strategic- & change communication in Offshore Wind. You will work alongside our project teams who work on finding solutions to our most complex challenges. Your responsibilities will include the analysis of change situations and the development and execution of change management initiatives and communication measures. Our industry is facing significant challenges and our offshore wind business has just completed a major re-organisation. To be successful, you need to be a strong communicator and relationship builder with a view for the big picture, while also understanding the interdependencies of various ongoing initiatives and projects.
We work in an international setting and with direct exposure to senior management. With us, you can develop and grow professionally. On your journey, you will be supported by a diverse group of peers, who have a background from management consulting companies or have previously worked in strategy functions.
You will have the following key responsibilities:
Keep your hand on the pulse of our organization and identify areas of development; advise the Head of Strategic Projects and the Offshore Wind Management Team
Guide our organization through the change process with innovative approaches and methods
Define, own and drive forward change management and communication initiatives and develop content for the various communication channels of our business unit
Prepare effective presentations, plans, roadmaps and analysis for our project sponsors & management team
Interview or facilitate group discussions and workshops with management, the project sponsor's employees and other stakeholders

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills/qualifications:
Background
Advanced university degree (or equal) in a relevant field or a business background with significant experience in strategic- & change communication, including a background from a change management consultancy
Profound expertise from large transformation, re-organisation or restructuring projects
A comprehensive toolkit that includes the key frameworks and methodologies
Deep understanding of change & transformation processes and comfortable advising senior management
Experience in the renewable energy industry preferable, but not required

Mindset
Passionate about creating a sustainable energy landscape
Structured, pro-active, motivated and comfortable to work independently
Creative and solution oriented
High emotional intelligence and ability to quickly build rapport and trusting relationships
Able to see the big picture, while understanding the right amount of details to include to deliver success
Strong stakeholder manager, cooperative team player and an excellent communicator within an international environment
Eager to take ownership and committed to deadlines

Location
The location can be in London, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Kolding or Stockholm. You will work in a European virtual team. As you will have colleagues based in different locations, some travel activities related to your work in Northern Europe are expected.
