Background
Alfa Laval is looking for a Senior Additive Manufacturing (AM) Engineer who will be part of the team that will continue to develop and run Alfa Laval 's inhouse Service Centre for AM.
Gustav de Laval invented the milk separator in 1878 and this invention laid the foundation for what Alfa Laval is today; a leading global supplier of innovative engineered solutions. Alfa Laval is on an important and interesting journey with AM and the Technology Centre for AM is driving this initiative.
About the job
As Additive Manufacturing Engineer you will contribute to develop, verify and implement AM processes. You will be in a team that drives competence development of AM in Alfa Laval. The tasks will be focused on working with DfAM (design for additive manufacturing), preparation and production of components, as well as supports R&D designers in DfAM. You will represent Alfa Laval in external research projects, drive topics like first time pass and DfAM guidelines. Develop simulation skills, investments, pricing model and ultimately investigate other AM technologies than the L-PBF currently used.
There is a travel activity of up to 30 days per year, and the position is based in Eskilstuna.

What you know
At least 5 years of experience is required for this position as AM Engineer. Preferably you have a M.Sc. degree in mechanical/industrial engineering. You have extensive knowledge in Design/CAD.
Ideally you have experience from AM, have simulation skills, FEM/Ansys, basic quality control knowledge and product cost calculation. It's a plus if you are familiarised with Alfa Laval as a company and its products.
English language is a must and Swedish is a plus for this role.
