We are recruiting for a Senior Acoustics Engineer in our Design & Development department, and the key responsibilities for this role are:
Ownership of the acoustical functionality of the sound processors.
Conducting tests, analysing results and suggesting design improvements.
Developing/improving test setups for evaluation of acoustical performance.
In this role you will help Cochlear to realise its mission by applying your acoustical knowledge in our future products.What makes this role unique is:

You Bring Your Skills and Experience
As we grow bone conducted solutions business, we are looking for people with highly specialised skills and capabilities who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. As a regulated company, Cochlear has a responsibility to hire people with the right skills and qualifications to do the work.
To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
M.Sc. or B.Sc. Engineering, specialized within acoustics.
Minimum 5 years technical experience in acoustic product development.
Very good knowledge in vibro-, electro- and aeroacoustics measurement techniques.
Fluent in English and Swedish.
Good writing and presentation skills.
Experience in Matlab.
Experience of microphone technologies and other electro acoustical transducers is an advantage.
The ability to solve problems and collaborate to get work done that delivers benefits for Cochlear's customers.
