Camurus is looking to strengthen the Finance organization with a Senior Accountant. You will be working with accounting, monthly closing and reporting in several legal entities in Europe and Australia. You will also participate in projects developing the financial processes that add value to the organization.

You will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and be part of the Finance & IT team of five people. The position is full time and based at the head office in Lund, Sweden. Approximately 10 - 20 international travel days per year are anticipated, within Europe.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
general accounting including coding, booking, accruals, payments and reconciliations
intercompany transactions and reconciliation of balances
preparation and timely filing of tax returns regarding social security contributions, wage tax and VAT EU periodic reporting
preparations of monthly, quarterly and yearly closings as well asquarterly and annual reports
ensuring accounts are compliant with tax and VAT legislation and current company accounting principles
contributing to update of Accounting Manual
support and contribute to budget/forecast preparatory tasks
management of outsourced activities
Camurus work with the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Cognos Controller is used as consolidation tool. Camurus has approximately 100 employees and is currently expanding its commercial business, mainly throughout Europe. Personal qualities and background
You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment. You have a structured work approach and are used to handle a broad range of tasks, both in collaboration with colleagues across the organisation as well as independently. You are an analytical problem solver with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
To be successful in this position you have a University degree in Economics or Finance and several years of experience from a similar position. You have very good understanding of accounting and preferably some insight into group consolidation. Experience from an international environment is a clear advantage. You have strong communication skills and are fluent in oral and written English as well as Swedish. You are an experienced user of the MS Office package and have particularly good Excel skills.
