You will be a key contributor to the creation of the next generation Finance community. You will develop and implement smart and agile finance processes and tools to support the business in the best way as well as providing accounting expertise.
What you'll do
* Fully understand the business within your area of responsibility, i.e. Volvo Car Parts and Service Business, and be able to translate complex business events into financial reporting and accounting in line with local GAAP as well as IFRS
* Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities within the area of responsibility and with confidence drive analysis and reporting of actual figures
* Participate in projects related to new business models as well as implementing changes in existing processes
* Develop a strong network by close collaboration with controlling as well as the operations in the daily business
* Recognise the importance of digitalization and be able to contribute in projects related to the same
Actively contribute to the improvement and standardization of applicable processes, automation and waste reduction
Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for accounting, and you need to have a desire and drive for change and be comfortable with challenging existing processes and mind-sets. You have very good understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation such as IFRS.
Your analysis capabilities are strong, and you possess abilities to grasp the big picture. A positive attitude and great communication skills are also key to be successful in this role.
In addition to the above you have a University degree in Finance and relevant work experience.
You are fluent in English both verbally and written.
