DigitalRoute is now looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Stockholm!
As Senior Accountant you will have the overall responsibility for the financial accounts of the parent company, its European subsidiary and branch office and the group accounts. To your help you will have an accountant managing the main part of the day-to-day accounting operations for the parent company and outsourced accounting firms for the branch office and subsidiary.
You will work closely with the regional finance managers in the Americas and APAC regions and the rest of the HQ finance team. To succeed in this role, you need the experience to be able to see the big picture yet not be afraid to get your hands dirty when needed.
This is the job
- Be responsible for the accounting, month-end closing procedures, group consolidation and financial reporting in a global company
- Contribute to continuous improvements with regards to accounting and financial reporting
- Manage the treasury function of the Group including cash management, currency exposure and forecasting
- Be responsible for the corporate taxation of the parent company, including income taxes, withholding taxes, VAT etc.
- Prepare the annual report for the Group and the parent company and manage the Group's accounting policies in accordance with IFRS
Your profile
- Solid experience working in the field of accounting, financial controlling, and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience of working with IFRS and Group Accounting
- Experience of Swedish corporate taxation
- Good analytical skills and understanding of financial analysis
- Experience from working in an international environment
- Relevant university degree and fluent in English
