Role:
Sibelco seek an junior Accountant ready to take the next step in their career by joining our finance team at our Mölndal office. Reporting to the Finance Manager for Sweden/Denmark/Norway, the position is temporary and has the responsibility to record accounting information, enter transactions, consolidate and verify accounting records to assess accuracy and compliance.
An ability to build good working relationships across functions within Sibelco will be required to succeed in this role.
Main responsibilities
Provide information to auditors
Verify accounting records to assess accuracy and compliance
Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analysing account information
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions including resolving discrepancies
Summarize financial status by collecting information, prepare balance sheet, profit and loss and other statements
Support in preparations of VAT and other tax reporting

Knowledge of Swedish and/or Norwegian Accounting
Understanding of Swedish and/or Norwegian tax legislation
Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Accurate, with an eye for detail
Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swedish and/or Norwegian are essential to this role
