Here at Kognity, we're looking for an experienced Account Exective to join us on our journey to radically improving learning for the world's 1.5 billion school students with our digital interactive textbooks. You will be joining our highly successful Sales Team in Stockholm. You will report to our VP of Sales and work with our international markets, meaning schools offering the global curricula of International Baccalaureate or IGCSE all over the world. We've just raised $20M to accelerate our efforts and enter the US market, so we have a lot of growth and exciting times ahead. What you'll get to do
Generate new sales revenues
Gain and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of school structures and decision-making processes in our international markets
Build and maintain a network of school decision-makers
Drive awareness of Kognity by showcasing benefits, ROI's & value drivers to key decision-makers and influencers
Initiate and develop partnerships with regional interest groups to promote Kognity through their networks
Create and execute large opportunity sales plans involving flagship schools and international groups of schools and help coordinate the efforts of other sales reps and the Marketing team
Help identify and represent Kognity at relevant conferences and events
Hand over won opportunities to the Account Management team in a way that maximizes chances for long term customer retention and growth
International sales strategy & support
Develop and maintain our international customer acquisition strategy
Support sales leadership in developing and maintaining the strategy for international partnerships
Provide up to date sales forecasts on a quarterly basis
Contribute to team improvements
Support sales leadership in coaching the team
Identify and own sales efficiency improvement initiatives
Host L&D sessions on areas of expertise
You might be a good fit if you...
Are a confident, self-motivated, dynamic, and entrepreneurial sales professional with previous experience leading sales of digital textbooks- or curriculum solutions in the education space
Have a minimum of 2 years experience selling in this space
You will have a proven record of consistently generating school deals
Comfortable at presenting a complex and high-level solution to various stakeholders and decision-makers at schools
Good knowledge of the Education market
A team player who celebrates success, mentors, and supports other members of the team and the business when required
Our products are delivered in a Saas model and customer relationships are key to renewals. You will be adept at both managing new business wins and supporting existing clients
Experience selling IGCSE, IBDP, or other international curriculum solutions would be an advantage, as well as a network of contacts at schools internationally
