To strengthen our ability to build a modern digital ecosystem that enables a data driven Scania we are now looking for a Semantic Solution Architect to join IXCB's platform team.
Your role
We have an exciting ongoing initiative: to create a service that provides insights and enables decision making based on real time information! A part of this initiative is to make Knowledge Graph as a service, usable for Scania and our customers. Our use of Knowledge Graphs is to create a digital thread that spans all aspects of product development, production, sales and service. We are now seeking a semantic solution architect with experience designing and implementing scalable Knowledge Graph solutions!
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify the use cases that can be addressed through knowledge graphs. It is therefore important that you can provide technical solutions, adjusted to specific needs. You will also need to work with data engineers to define data models and integrate data from various sources into the knowledge graphs. This may involve designing and implementing data pipelines, data cleaning and transformation and data mapping. You will also need to make sure sensitive data is protected. A part of your responsibility is therefore to design governance policies for Knowledge Graphs.
Your profile
You have experience of working with graph database technologies and semantic web standards, including RDF, OWL and SPARQL. You also have experience with Graph technologies such as Stardog and Metaphactory. Also, you have a deep understanding of how to design and implement graph-based data models and experience of ontology development. It is also important that you have experience working with clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
To succeed in this role, excellent communication skills are needed to collaborate with our stakeholders and with other cross-functional teams.
