The Genesys department at Munters are now looking for the right candidate to be part of the development and supporting of the Genesys platform as a Selection Software Specialist.

The Selection software Specialist supports the implementation and the development of new and existing configurable products in the Munters selection software. This platform called Genesys is used by the sales force to configure product selections, rate product performance, and price the product in an efficient and convenient manner. The Selection software Specialist does this by implementing and maintaining product data and definition under the direction of the Selection Software Development Manager following specification and guidance from Product Management and R&D. The Selection software Specialist role involves project management aspects, interfacing between R&D, Product Management, and sales as well as programmers. Maintenance, technical updates, user support, function testing as well as developing logics tables for the products are also key functions in the role.
Job Qualifications:
B.S in Engineering, preferable physics or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
Strong project management skills
Effective communicator with strong English written and verbal skills (to effectively communicate and translate feedback, needs and solutions)
Creative problem solving skills and ability
Previous HVAC selection software or other web-based selection software experience is a plus
Experience in engineering tool development involving technical calculations is a plus
Knowledge of web and stand-alone applications, particularly in Visual Basic 6.0, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Classic ASP and .NET Development is a plus
Strong understanding of relational databases and data driven applications using MS Access or MS SQL Server is a plus
Traveling will be required - up to 10%
