hela Sverige The position is based at our integrated drug discovery laboratories at Novum in Huddinge with a staff of 22 scientists. The scientific disciplines represented in-house are biochemistry/biophysics, medicinal and computational chemistry as well as cell and tumor biology. We also rely on several external academic and industrial collaborations.
We offer a full-time position for a protein crystallographer who will join our team of biophysicist, biochemists, medicinal- and computational chemistry experts. You will contribute by providing crystal structures of ligand-protein complexes, which will allow us to further improve the design of new drug molecules. When new target proteins are added to our pipeline, an important part of your work will be the identification of crystallization conditions and the development of stable crystal systems, which are essential steps for the establishment of new projects.

We are now seeking a protein crystallographer to strengthen our team. Are you our new colleague?
Your qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Structural Biology or Biochemistry (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in protein crystallization and particularly in the study of protein/ligand complexes
• Strong experience in all steps in structure determination (from data collection to refinement)
• Experience from a drug discovery setting is considered a plus.
• Strong commitment to lab work with attention to detail, documentation, and quality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as good interpersonal and organizational skills.
