hela Sverige As Seed Selection and Planning Expert at Syngenta Seeds in Landskrona, you will work independently in a critical role to ensure that the best possible sugar beet seed quality is used in the seed processing factory. You will be responsible for the final seed selection, and ensure that the selected seed matches the specific needs of the requestor. Consequently, you will also be the single point of contact between the markets and the factory in all questions related to seed quality. As Seed Selection and Planning Expert you will also be responsible for reviewing and optimizing the seed stock in Landskrona post season and you will support production planning activities to ensure that the production is in line with market needs. In addition to the operational responsibilities, the Seed Selection and Planning Expert will manage benchmarking activities, which includes setting up and following benchmarking trials, and providing competitive intelligence.

Publiceringsdatum2013-05-08Kvalifikationer• You have an academic degree in Agronomy, Natural Science or equivalent. Academic studies in genetics is a requirement. Knowledge in plant breeding and/or plant pathology is an advantage.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience (within industry or academia) preferably from the agribusiness. Experience of working in a similar role, with seed quality and/or seed processing, is a great advantage.
• You have well documented experience of working as a project leader or similar, in a coordinating and networking role.
• You are used to working with Access or other databases as well as with other IT systems.
• You are fluent in English in speech and writing. It is an advantage if you also master Swedish.
As a person you are decisive, accurate and quality conscious. You have strong inter-personal skills, communication skills and ability to operate effectively in multi-cultural environments with multiple stakeholders at different levels. You are service minded and customer focused. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
