We offer an interesting job in a business that operates in a challenging security environment with a constant need to review and adapt its security posture. We are looking for a mature leader with a drive to lead, oversee and motivate the security organisation in Vattenfall Generation in the continued security transformation.
You will report to the VP Human Resources for Business Area (BA) Generation and functionally to the VP Corporate Security & Resilience / Chief Security Officer of Vattenfall Group. The Business Units (BU's) within Vattenfall Generation have their own security staff and you will be leading a functional security council team consisting of Business Unit Security officers (BUSO's) and Business Information Security Officers (BISO's). You will interact with stakeholders on different levels in the organisation such as Executive Management, Corporate Security and your own functional security team to drive the security agenda forward.
Your main responsibilities
Your main responsibility within Security Management for BA Generation will be to ensure that our security agenda is planned and has the right actions to add value to the business as well as to Vattenfall Group. The purpose is of course to protect the organisation's assets, such as information, people, processes, physical assets and reputation. We believe the best result will be achieved, when our security efforts are aligned with our business interests to secure continued business performance and new business opportunities.
Other tasks and responsibilities are:
Continue to develop the security organisation throughout all areas within BA Generation.
Support implementation of the Vattenfall Security Management System including information security and monitor group security programs.
Coordinate and drive the risk based security steering and governance within BA Generation and make sure that security protection efforts ensures compliance to the Swedish Security Protection Act.
Secure risk management in line with the business strategies and the Corporate Security & Resilience function
Drive change to continuously improve security performance, leveraging on corporate and Vattenfall Generation programs.
Ensure that all levels of the organisational structure, from Business Area, Business Units and legal entity operate in alignment with established security standards.
Location: Arenastaden, Solna. Some traveling will be required both in Sweden and in Europe.
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced and confident security manager who has a proven record in leading and driving security management. You have an academic degree and between five to ten years of relevant work experience in larger corporate environments. You work with high integrity, security and privacy awareness and have the ability to analyse complex information and draw relevant conclusions from it.
Your cooperation and relationship skills are required and needed to functionally lead a security organisation located in different places throughout our Generation business. A hands on performance focus, strong drive and well-structured working method that adds value to local business and secures that we deliver on agreed security plans is also very important.
You are business oriented and have very good communication skills with the ability to communicate across different functions and cultures, both in the company and also to external stakeholders. This will be highly valuable when leading change initiatives and that is why you should have experience in change management and competencies in the area to be able to build engagement from both strategic and operational level.
Other requirements:
Knowledge in relevant Information Security legislation in Sweden and EU.
Experience in working with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
You need to be fluent in both spoken and written English and Swedish
Knowledge of the specific security challenges related to ICS (Industrial Control System) and experience of working methods and requirements from the Swedish authorities for the energy industry this will be highly valued.
