hela Sverige Scania Corporate Security, leads the global management of operational and strategic security risks, protecting Scania employees and company assets.
Main responsibility for the department are: Loss Prevention (fire-safety, -protection and, -prevention as well as the same for natural hazards), Protective Security, Asset Protection, Personal Security, Crisis Management, Internal Investigations (jointly with other units within Scania), Travel security and the coordination of fire- safety and security in Sweden. The department is also responsible to a manager on duty 24/7/365 which will be included in the role going forward.
The Security Manager Sweden reports to the Head of Scania Corporate Security.
The Security Manager Sweden operational develops guidelines and programs within security for Sweden to coordinate a secure business environment in accordance with necessary adoptions of corporate guidelines and security standards.
The Security Manager Sweden is responsible for steering and coordination within the area Security Sweden as well as advising the Swedish operations within the same.
In some cases the role involves the necessity to liaise with the global Scania organisation as well as with other Corporate Units within Scania and national governmental agencies.
General Responsibilities
Manage the development and implementation of a comprehensive Security
program accordance with Corporate Security guidelines and security standards, in order to ensure that Scania have an appropriate and cost-effective security concept.
Advise, supervise Security concepts for existing or new establishments.
Conduct security and other operational risk assessments within the area of responsibility and advise in order mitigate risks in this regard.
Supervise external security consultants as well as other contractors within the area of responsibility in order ensure quality in selection and tender procedures.
Required Skills
Relevant master's or bachelor's degree in Security management, or equivalent level. Preferable with physical security as main field
Profound knowledge of security legislation in Sweden.
Strong knowledge on national standards for security.
Extensive experience in security, with a track record of more than 7 years in the field.
Previous experience in industrial organizations and involvement in security-related projects.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Demonstrated qualities of being communicative, analytical, structured, self-motivated, and self-driven.
A trustworthy individual with a strong sense of ethics and personal integrity.
A natural leader in project management and a dedicated team player, always prioritizing team results, whether within the security team, a specific business area, or Scania as an international conglomerate.

Prior experience in roles within a government authority, consulting, or multinational corporation. To thrive in this role, you should possess a strong ability to prioritize tasks and successfully drive implementation and change. We are looking for someone who is motivated by engaging and developing colleagues and naturally excels in communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management beyond the immediate organization. Moreover, you should have confidence in your competence, as it will serve as the foundation for decision-making, prioritization, and setting goals and direction within the organization, even though this role does not have direct personnel management responsibilities.
The position will require travelling in Sweden, approximately a few days ten times within a year.
