BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
• Full field investigations for new hire locally employed staff
• Routine re-certification for locally employed staff
• Investigative requests from other Posts or Agencies.
• Investigations on intended spouses of American Staff.
• Investigate theft of USG property.
• Investigate misconduct by locally employed staff.
• Reports of crimes against all employees.
• Investigate and report all security incidents.
• Investigate incidents of fraud and other criminal activity pertaining to the Consular Section.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
Education: Completion of secondary school education.
Prior Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years full time administrative or managerial experience. Minimum of three years Investigative experience in private sector or two years of police or military experience required.
Language Proficiency: Level 4 (fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing Swedish is required.
Level 4 (fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required.
Knowledge: Ability to learn the required administrative and investigative procedures that are applicable to working knowledge of documentary sources of information. Familiarity with local laws pertaining to marriage, divorce, adoption, military service etc.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to maintain and develop extensive contacts with Swedish police and security officials. Ability to exercise initiative and resourcefulness in obtaining information. Ability to quickly differentiate urgent from routine and prioritize accordingly. Ability to draft complex reports in English and Swedish.
