We are looking for you who are motivated to keep learning and to forget the obsolete! You enjoy working both independently and interdependently in the cyber security network and cross functions and you feel comfortable working both agile and in a constantly changing environment. Your passion is understanding emerging cyber security threats and mitigating their possible impacts on the business environment. Sharing and living the IKEA culture and values comes natural to you.
More specifically we want you to have proven training in computer science or any engineering equivalent as well as a minimum of 1-3 years of experience as software engineer, preferably within cyber security. Preferred is also the experience of working in an Agile and DevOps working set-up, ethical hacking and penetration testing as well as the knowledge of IKEA Brand, culture, values and way of working.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• current and emerging cyber security threats and their impacts in eCommerce/digital channels and the digital landscape
• software engineering practices including BDD, TDD, test automation, DevOps, code versioning, with knowledge and experience of using industry standard toolsets
• information security best practice, architecture standards, tools and methods, across policy, process and technology
• cyber security reporting, including measurement of risks and compliance Knowledge of the fast moving data technology landscape
• design and architecture concepts (i.e. micro services) and ability to apply knowledge within the development cycle
• experience with DevOps and agile development practices, in which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross-functional teams
• IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
To be able to succeed in the role you need to have a high level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgement and maturity. Important is also the ability to capture, interpret and translate cyber security requirements into requirements of data architecture, database technology and data model design. You work effectively in times of change and uncertainty, with the business goals and co-workers in focus and you actively acquires new knowledge and skills as well as leverages new methods and processes to improve performance. You have the ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business.
ABOUT THE JOB
In this position you will ensure the required level of IT security for applications, systems and platforms in the Group Digital, including proactively monitoring the cyber security policies surrounding the IT-systems and keeping them up to date.
You will:
• work in agile teams in the capability area, supporting a security and privacy by design approach to digital, aiming to have security and privacy controls built-in rather than bolted-on to reduce risk exposure
• support development of technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
• assist the product development teams in applying security engineering policies
• conduct monitoring of cyber security policies surrounding the IT systems and proactively keep them up-to-date to emerging trends and threats
• update the common Group Digital site on standards and methods when necessary to ensure alignment across Group Digital
• work across initiatives within INGKA Group, steering towards solutions that fit within the boundaries of the data governance framework.
