This opening sits in the Automotive Security team at Einride where you'll be engaging directly with our engineering teams developing software/hardware for our autonomous vehicles. We are looking for someone who has a broad understanding of information security concepts either in software or embedded hardware.
Job Description
Provide practical expertise and guidance when Einride engineers design, build and test the fundamental components in our connected vehicles
Take an active role in building mechanisms for monitoring and managing Docker containers as software update processes for IoT devices
Advocate and drive the introduction of security principles and processes during the development phase of our vehicles. These activities may range from reviewing architectural design to implementing security controls on the CI/CD pipelines of Einride engineers
Assist (and possibly lead) the compliance efforts to new cybersecurity compliance standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434)
Introduce best security practices for software/firmware upgrades and authentication in all layers from CAN bus to Cloud.
Requirements
Comfortable working with software development tools (e.g., git, IDEs, linux) and DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD)
You are very comfortable with cybersecurity fundamentals, public key/symmetric key encryption schemes, PKI, etc.
Experience with embedded systems (preferably working with automotive ECU, VCU, CAN bus)
You are familiar with one or more programming languages (preferably go, Rust or C/C++) or at least scripting (python, bash, etc)
You are able to translate technical requirements to a higher level of abstraction without confusing colleagues of less technical background with unnecessary technical jargon
You share your expertise with colleagues and teams demonstrating a collaborative spirit and educator approach
Nice extra
Familiar with charging infrastructure architectures such as CMS, eMSP, OCPI hub
Have experience with third party vendor assessment programs
Have been part of one or more certification processes with standardization bodies such as NIST, BSI, or been part of ISO certification program
Knowledge in reverse engineering and embedded systems fuzzing
