What we offer you
As a security engineer in the security operations team you will continuously work with our ability to identify and react to vulnerabilities and security incidents. You can identify critical resources in our cloud native environment and ensure that we are properly monitoring it with logs and alerts set up in our SIEM. You can also use Python (or Go) to automate whatever can be automated so that our security tooling can scale as Tink grows. As a member of the security operations team you should also be able to quickly and accurately identify and assess incidents and vulnerabilities. And most importantly; you will work together with the rest of the organisation to do whatever it takes to keep our customers' data secure.

• Working in a team of competent and ambitious but at the same time humble and friendly individuals (yes, it is possible to have all of them at the same time)
• Possibility to successfully pitch your own ideas and get time to work on them
• Provide tooling that supports the infrastructure team in identifying misconfigurations and securely scaling our cloud environment
• Continuously work with improving visibility into our cloud native infrastructure and services
• Continuously improve our threat detection capabilities by, for example, conducting purple teaming exercises together with our engineering teams
• Strive to make working tasks and tooling automatic with minimal human interaction
• Conduct proactive monitoring, investigation, and mitigation of security incidents
What we look for
• Ability to write code; not just look at it (please link your Github account if you have any public projects)
• Have working experience with SIEMs (Splunk, Sumo Logic)
• Have working experience with AWS
• Ability to do log analysis
• Experience with UNIX-based environments
• Desire to work with people; for real
• Experience with AWS specific security services (preferred)
• Experience with Kubernetes and containers (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with incident response (preferred)
• Previous experience with building monitoring solutions (preferred)
• Ability to break stuff, but an even greater desire to fix them (preferred)
