Security Director, Business Area Broadband
The position will be placed in Broadband Operational Excellence.

The role as a Security Director is a challenging position, good development opportunities and the support of a highly experienced team.
Job description
The Security Director is responsible to co-ordinate all security activities in the Business Area and in all countries of operation. Currently the security work is distributed in different line organizations inside the BA but the Security Director is to co-ordinate these activities. You will work in close cooperation with Corporate Security as well as Corporate Revenue Assurance and you will represent the BA in the security related matters.
The security related activities range throughout the BA which includes for example:
• Physical security in shops as well as technical premises for staff and equipment
• Product, IT and network security
• Product, IT, network, and service robustness
• Contacts with authorities and regulators
• Business continuity planning
• Risk analysis and self-assessments
You will be responsible to plan, develop and implement a common security strategy and roadmap across the BA on security matters. The road map shall ensure that we take advantage of the cross border synergies while meeting internal and external requirements. This shall include current and future requirements, e.g. from authorities and regulators in areas like privacy, resilience and critical infrastructure issues.
You will be responsible to compile and report on the progress of the security activities in the BA.
This position is a Level 5 Director position placed in the management team of Broadband, System Development, and you will report to the vice President of System Development.
Necessary qualifications
For this position you will need to have the following qualifications.
• Extensive work experience from the Security area and/or Mobile Network operations and business
• Management experience
• Fluent in English. An additional language skill, e.g. Swedish, Finnish or Baltic, is a clear advantage
• University/Master Degree or similar
Personal characteristic
As a person you need to be able to easily work together with other people externally and inside different parts of TeliaSonera in different countries. Your social skills and abilities to communicate internally and externally are very important. You will need to find the pragmatic solutions to get to quick results while keeping the balance between security and cost efficiency.
You will need to be very "self-going" and be able to define and anchor the directions and implement the structure rather than be dependent on ready structures and directions. Analytical skills and strategic thinking will be very important to succeed in this position. You should be very result oriented.
Given the nature of the work you will need to work with high degree of personal as well as information integrity.
