A role as Information Security Architect to take the lead in integration of security into the company's architecture roadmap, general projects, and continued development of information security systems networks and supporting infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities for the Security Architect
• This role will involve assessing the network architecture of applications and services that will support Verisure - as well as design continual improvements to substantial Information Security team infrastructure..
• Working with global architecture teams, outline roadmaps and architectural descriptions across domains, functions, and industries, then monitoring and governing the implementation.
• Design best practice which enables them to act as trusted advisors to the architecture consulting team on optimal infrastructure designs.
• Apply design methodology principles in a logical and scientific manner to perform a detailed analysis of client requirements to create designs for conceptual architectural designs.
• Involved with a project at the time of inception and is involved in the governance and functional analysis of developing the initial requirements
• Researches and investigates emerging infrastructure technologies and the best practices associated with them.
• May attend or present at technical conferences
• Work closely with vendors to understand their roadmaps, new developments and products
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required for the Security Architect
• A track record of minimum 5 years of previous Security and/or Architecture experience, working on complex problems.
• Experience of relevant technologies (such as Networks, LANs and WANs, Servers & Hosting, Virtualisation, Applications, Identity Management etc.) and how to securely implement them.
• A sound understanding of how to model threats & risks as well as the controls necessary to mitigate them, on both an organisational and technical level.
• Excellent communication skills - both oral (for interviews/meetings, presentations) and written (for designing and writing engaging reports which communicate findings succinctly and clearly convey the message in a way which is appropriate for the audience, and rooted in the client's needs)
• Strong personal skills and ability to work in multi-cultural environment
• Experience of industry standard Architectural Methodologies and Frameworks such as SABSA and TOGAF desirable
• Cyber Security related qualification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, CREST Technical Security Architect, ISO Lead Auditor etc a plus
• Experience in risk & regulatory frameworks and standards such as NIST 800, ISO 27001, ISF SOGP, PCI-DSS etc a plus
• Working-level English a requirement, knowledge in French, Spanish, or Swedish desirable
