What we offer
Global Customer Service is a unit within Volvo Cars, which is responsible for the development and production of digital and printed Owner 's Information, but also for worldwide aftermarket business, the development and distribution of spare parts, service and repair methods and accessory range. Our ambition is to create the best car ownership experience for the customer. We offer an exciting position as Section Project leader with the opportunity to shape the future of the technology intense automotive industry.
The User Information department is responsible for the development of printed and digital products, e. g. In Car Digital Manual, Phone App and the Support Site. We design car functionality, supports new car projects and are responsible for content production, translation and print/distribution to our multiple publication channels.
Your key tasks
As a Section Project Leader, you will be responsible for leading projects, perform investigations and develop processes related to your area.
You will be part of a team of project leaders, product developers and specialists. Due to the dynamic nature of our area, you can expect your tasks to vary over time.
As a Project Manager, you are able to demonstrate clear competence in managing and delivering all components of the end-to-end project delivery process, such as:
* Investigate, analyze and define scope and requirements.
* Managing time plans, risk management, processes and issues.
* Develop and improve quality, processes and products, by continuous evaluation.
You will establish and develop relationships with international representatives from many areas such as editorial, translation and print suppliers, Product & Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Marketing and Customer Service.
You and your skills
You have a BSc in engineering or equivalent working experience and senior experience of leading projects.
You are comfortable in investigating and mapping unknown areas and processes, as well as analyzing issues and suggesting improvements.
This position require an intermediate (or higher) level in MS Office and MS Project. Experience from technical information production, XML, content management systems, task handling systems and digital distribution is an advantage.
You have a driver license and are fluent in English (both written and spoken).

For this position, you need to have a passion for supporting the car user in the best possible way. You need to be analytical and structured, have a strong sense for details and a personal eagerness to investigate, learn and accomplish results.
It 's important that you are a team player with a positive mindset and good communication skills. You are proactive, curious and have the ability to drive tasks on your own. You are also fast to adapt to new prerequisites and environments.
This position requires good judgement, a strong sense of responsibility and to creating value.
