hela Sverige Interested in working in one of the world's most modern shipyards? Are you a skilled leader with experience of planning and managing daily production - this is your chance! We are hiring a Section manager mechanical to our Outfitting department in Karlskrona.
Your role
As section manager Mechanical Outfitting you are a member of the Outfitting management team. You have responsibility over a team of approx. 18-25 workers in production. Your role is to lead and develop the team to perform in a safe work environment. The role include many stakeholders and there is a daily need of communicating with colleagues in various projects and support functions.
The main tasks are:
* Responsibility for the workforce within section Outfitting.
* Responsibility for the work environment.
* Develop and maintain the section, both people and work process.
* Responsibility for section budget and economical result.
* Analyze need of recourses and the skills that are needed.
* Define work planning together with production planning department.
* Handle both new building and maintenance of marine platforms.
Your profile
You are a natural leader and a stable person who likes working with people. A success factor in this role is your ability to build networks and get your people with you toward set goals. You 're an open minded, driven and solution-focused person who is triggered by solving the daily challenges.
Required skills:
* High school education
* Experience of planning and managing of daily production.
* Experience of drawing reading.
* At least a few years of relevant experience from above mentioned tasks.
* Great communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written.
* Good knowledge in Microsoft Office software.
* Driving license
Desired skills:
* Experience from working in marine environment.
* Experience of working in leading positions.
* Experience in working with lean and continuous improvements.
* Knowledge in Saab Kockums systems.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

Saabs business area Kockums is a part of the Saab group and focus on developing, building and maintaining naval ships. The Outfitting department contains four areas; Mechanical, Pipe, Electrical and Electronic installation. Production works with highly advanced and complex products with the goal to be world leading in this area. The Outfitting management team are a solid team that works tight together.
