Job Description
At AFRY Experience Studios we are eager to push the development forward with design! We are now looking for one more leader, a section manager, to continue the expansion of our Surface Design team.
Today, Experience Studios includes over 175 employees working in the design process, from brand, strategy and innovation, through service and business design, to physical and digital design with various competences in industrial and automotive design.
The business segment Technical Design within Experience Studios supports the design process in the areas of studio engineering, surface design, design quality, visualization (who also supports market departments) and geometry design engineering for physical models. This role is for the surface design team and a specific part of it will be to develop the concept modeling team.

As a section manager you will be responsible for budget, customer relations, sales and personnel for up to 20 persons in the Gothenburg office.
We would prefer if you have:
• A good view of and ability to take care of employees and ensure their development and well-being
• Experience of personnel responsibility and clear leadership as well as recruitment
• An established network and relationships with existing and new customers
• Good competence in Surface Design, the design process and the tools (mainly Alias and/or IcemSurf, but also polymodeling tools)
• Good ability to drive sales processes to completion and to develop long-term business relationships
• Experience of budget responsibility
• Interest in new tools to develop processes
