We are currently looking for a Section Head for the Infrastructure management department in Stockholm. We have a great team of 14 system, datacenter and network administrators handling 24/7 operations of the bwin poker infrastructure. The department is responsible for all aspects of the infrastructure operation, including planning, design, troubleshooting and development for the test and production infrastructure. The assignment also includes handling on-call and incident management.
The profile we search for has broad experience of operation of a transaction intense client-server based system. You have technical understanding and are able to translate technical solutions into business values. You have the capability of leading the team in the direction of your roadmap.
Your place at the table
You will have the opportunity of working for the market leader of gaming and live betting products focusing on to lift the organization, clarify vision and goals, communicate expectations and expected results. Other tasks are to
ensure a cost efficient infrastructure management
manage your teams and the department to ensure that the goals within your organization are met
be part of responsibility for gaming availability
manage infrastructure incident and problem resolution
Setup and install new systems and solutions
handling resource planning
Your gaming skills and experience
To play with us you should have;
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate your team members
Ability to express yourself in English and Swedish, both in writing and speech
Broad technical understanding and knowledge, and real-life experience of large-scale operation of IT services
Player profile
We believe that you have good ability to motivate and inspire people in a constant changing agile organization. A successful candidate has several years of professional experience of IT Operations. Experience of SW development organizations are an advantage. You have proven good leadership skills and you should be able to understand and contribute to a scalable and robust architecture.
