Scania's Purchasing is responsible for the purchase of products and services to all of Scania units worldwide.
The current secretary is leaving for new challenges within Scania and we are looking for her successor.
We are working in a dynamic and creative environment which requires a flexible and proactive approach. The two departments are working internationally and handle various activities and situations. In this role your main task will be to support the two Purchasing Directors for Axles & Gearbox and Engine and you will also be a member of both management teams and be responsible for the administration for those.
Your duties
Your main task is to support and act as a "sparring partner" to the two Directors. You manage their calendars and email and support them in their daily operation. You are a member of two management teams: Axles & Gearbox and Engine and act in close collaboration with the managers and controller of the functions and operate when necessary own projects.
You will coordinate the purchasing assistant team for both departments. In this role you will be responsible for the administration for the management teams as well as the two departments.
Your profile
You have a couple of years experience as a secretary or a similar position and master the ordinary duties without difficulties. You have a structured way of working and are service minded.
You are fluent in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing and have experience in different computer systems i.e Outlook, Power Point, Excel.
To be able to make the right priorities it is important to have an understanding for Scania's organization. In this position you need to be a team player with high integrity and like to work independently as well as being flexible and be able to take your own decisions.
