Main tasks
Scania Purchasing is responsible for the purchase of products and services to all of Scania units worldwide. The current secretary is leaving for new challenges within Scania and we are looking for her successor.
We are working in a dynamic and creative environment which requires a flexible and proactive approach. The department is working internationally and handles various purchasing related activities. As from January 1th 2016 we have introduced a new organizational set-up. In this new set-up, your main task will be to support the Vice President, the Project Purchasing Director and the Management Team.
Your main task is to assist the Vice President and the Project Director. You manage their calendars and emails and support them in the daily operation. You are a member of the management team and act in close collaboration with the other members of the Team. You will focus on supporting the team and when necessary you will manage own projects. You are working closely together with the other secretaries within Purchasing. You will also coordinate the collaboration with the local purchasing assistants within the department as well as the handling of certain overall departmental activities.
Your profile
You have a couple of years' experience as a secretary or a similar position and master the ordinary duties without difficulties. You have a structured way of working and are service minded. You are fluent in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing and have experience in different computer systems i.e Outlook, Power Point, Excel. To be able to make the right priorities it is important to have an understanding for Scania's organization. In this position you need to be a team player with high integrity and like to work independently as well as being flexible and be able to take your own decisions.
