www.ongame.com.Ongame is currently looking for a QA Lead for our e-gaming platform (eGP) development unit. The team at our office in central Stockholm is responsible for the full development lifecycle of the e-gaming platform. As part of our team, you will get the opportunity to work for one of the leaders in a growing market for online gaming.
Your place at the table
• As a QA Lead at eGP you will work in a creative environment with highly skilled and motivated colleagues. Our system is a transaction intensive gaming platform built to support different gaming verticals as well as add on services, with very high requirements on performance, scalability, security and robustness. The system has multiple internal and external integration points. You will manage test planning & follow up, test environments, coordinating & coaching the other testers in the team.
• This challenging position as QA Lead offers excellent opportunities to grow as a professional. We work according to the SCRUM methodology and in small teams that are responsible for feature development throughout the process of designing, coding and testing. All teams are cross-functional and have all the competences needed to deliver features all the way to deployment. The testing strategy at eGP is focused on building and maintaining an automatic test suite complemented with a mix of agile testing techniques such as Session Based Testing, Exploratory and Risk-Based testing. This position also involves participating in the Integration and System Verification test stages in which the complete system is tested in a number of different configurations.
Your skills and experience
To succeed in this role we think you possess the following:
• To play with us, you need to have a relevant degree plus at least three years? experience from test and some proven leadership qualities. Using your leadership skills to organize and motivate your team is key for this position.
• Hands-on experience in functional and non-functional testing is essential and of course, you know your test theory by heart.
• Our applications are built on open source frameworks so an interest in and experience from Linux, MySql and Java technology is preferred.
• Experience of server-side troubleshooting is considered an advantage.
