The scope of your role

As Search Specialist at Northmill you will have a key role in the organization to impact the growth. We have a clear vision and high goals for the future, and our digital marketing area plays a huge role in order for us to reach that vision. You are responsible for our search strategies and have the freedom to test out new ideas. You will be able to try out new things and methods to grow our organic presence, we appreciate creative employees that dare to find new ways to succeed.

You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to set the strategies on Search, and Content Marketing to create quality content that improves rankings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop SEO strategies and analytic recommendations in terms of site structure, links and content
• Increase rankings and share-of-voices for Northmill by creating and updating web pages together with our Content Marketer
• Monitor search engine performance through tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, Ahrefs
• Daily audit of our website SEO performance and perform actions to improve our scores, such as filling meta descriptions, correcting spelling mistakes, editing broken links, adding alt tag and more.
• Optimize landing pages across our sites and increase quality, both on-page and off-page
• Manage and optimize Google ads and execute A/B test to achieve ROI
• Work with crawlers to identify potential improvements and opportunities
• Work closely with the development team, content, marketing and other departments.
• Tracking, analysing and reporting performance
• Follow the latest trends within SEO, SEM and the industry

About you

You bring:

• A Bachelor degree in marketing, business or relevant field
• 3-5 years of SEO experience in agency or financial industry. Experience in Google Ads and content is a plus.
• Fluency in English and written Swedish
• Great skills in Google search optimization, Google ads management, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, Ahref.
• Skills in HTML, CSS, as well as technical skills and understanding what's going on behind a site (backend).
• Knowledge of hosting website and the techniques behind it.
• A proven track record of optimizing landing pages and user funnels. It's a plus if you have been creating your own website.
