We are seeking a Functional Development Expert to join our dynamic team at Alsha Consulting. This role involves the end-to-end development of functional requirements, including requirement breakdown, software design, documentation, implementation, testing, and verification. The successful candidate will specialize in a technical domain such as Vehicle, HMI, Combustion, Engine After-treatment, Electro mobility, Powertrain Control, Control Theory, Mechatronics, or Diagnostics. You will lead system engineering efforts within a technical team and play an active role in delivery, ensuring quality and readiness before release. Your contributions will often focus on the early phases of the development cycle, including the development of technical roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional development tasks, including requirement breakdown, software design, documentation, implementation, testing, and verification.
Specialize in a technical domain to develop and deliver features.
Lead system engineering efforts within a technical team.
Integrate and coordinate deliveries from other team members.
Ensure the quality and readiness of deliverables before release.
Focus on early development phases and create technical roadmaps.
Network across the organization and influence work at other sites.
Participate in business development and enhance acquired competence.
Expertise Required:
Extensive experience in embedded software applications, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Proven experience as a project lead and an established coach, mentor, and educator.
Recognized as a subject matter expert and a go-to person for complex issues.
Strong T-shaped profile, either building deeper discipline excellence or developing a mature generalist toolbox.
Experience as a product owner, contributing to project roadmaps and strategies within the context of industry trends.
Ability to articulate value creation and align work with technical direction/business area strategy.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Expertise in mechanical engineering, product development, embedded systems, electronic and software development, software testing, automation, automotive, interaction design, and design engineering.
