General purposes:
Proactively plans and performs advanced technical activities requiring knowledge in multiple areas or on a system level to service the customer. Prioritizes work based on customer impact, and brings expertise to customer site on need basis.
Main responsibility areas: Identifies and solves proactively demanding problems and communicates them to key stakeholders. Participates as an expert in own technology area in customer projects. May support areas by participating in emergency and 24/7 duty. Is active in networking and knowledge sharing. Develops processes, tools and working methods.
Support of SDM products such as but not limited to HLR-FE, One-NDS, One-EIR, and HSS including following activities:
Job Description:
• Carries out Commissioning, integrating, and troubleshooting.
• Performs technical activities to fulfill the contractual obligations toward Nokia customer.
• Technical support into customer networks.
• Performs SW and HW upgrade/expansion.
• Responsible for overall performance of the SDM products.
• Supporting customer for end-to-end support.
• Participate in 24/7 emergency on-call support.
• Provide proactive maintenance service support and delivery.
• Support change management service delivery.
• Organize and participate in pilot and roll-out upgrades and patch installations.
• New technology support and Service deployment.
• Share technical information and provide competence transfer.
• Ensure quality customer satisfaction survey targets are met.
• Consult with customers regarding optimization, planning, feature activations, and other improvements.
Additional requirements:
BS Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication or equivalent.
• Mandatory Level 4 skills for SDM products.
• Has excellent IP and Unix experience and skills
• Has knowledge in network technologies, including TCP/IP, routing/switching, network security, Network Management, DNS, Radius, LDAP, 3GPP interfaces, etc.
• Has advanced troubleshooting skills on IP, Unix or Linux. Can independently use network analyzers and to troubleshoot difficult network problems.
• Effective communication skills. Fluent Finnish, English and Swedish.
• Understanding of LTE/IP/GSM networks.
