About the job As a Scrum master you will be the extended hand of the Agile Product Owner (APO) and together you will prioritize backlog and break down backlog items to daily deliverables. Your goal is to help the cross functional team(s) (CTF) to understand the need for clear and concise backlog items as well as practicing agile ways of working principles, facilitating agile events and solve ad hoc daily tasks.
Your responsibilities will include: (please adjust! according to the role:
Coaching the team in self-organization and cross functionality
Manage, lead and follow up on activities and initiatives within the team
Helping the CFT to create high value
Remove hinders/impediments during daily work
Facilitate agile events e.g. workshops Arrange and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, participate in weekly and monthly release meetings, sprint planning sessions and retrospectives
Coordination with other teams and Scrum Masters within and outside of our value stream
Continuously improve the way of working using the SWAP method (Swedbank Agile Process)
Dealing with ad hoc issues and questions
What you need to succeed To succeed you need extensive understanding of the business.
You have software development or maintenance experience. You should have high interest in agile methodologies and/or way of working. To excel in product back-log management and understanding product planning is key in this position.
As a Scrum master you are service minded, social and communicative. You are good at asking questions but you are also structured, systematic and have interest in details. Team-player is your middle name and you love to solve problems together with your colleagues.
