For our client mBlox we are looking for an experienced Scrum master/Technical Project manager. The right candidate should have first class project management skills to join the small dynamic Agile Development team, focused on design, development and testing of our core SMS processing platform. You will be working closely with our Product Owner and Engineering Director to produce critical project plans and reports as well as help drive tasks within our team and with our suppliers.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting Product Owner(s) with communication of the end to end project plan, ensuring it is kept up to date, in parallel you will help create reports to communicate project status to management on a daily/weekly basis. Your responsibilities will also be to clearly communicate any potential issues or blockers discovered within the project to management whilst continually looking for improvements that can be made to improve our efficiency.

You have a demonstrable background in software development and leading software projects and/or sprint teams is required, interaction with global teams and transaction intensive systems, web applications and network technology definitely beneficial.

In this assignment you will start out as a Dfind consultant for the initial six month and thereafter the ambition is to transcend into an employment with mBlox.

Main assignment

• Organize and facilitate daily stand up meetings, detailed sprint planning (tasking), sprint demo's, sprint retrospectives and other scrum-related meetings between development teams

• Coordinate sprint plans with the other teams in the global product organization

• Highly experienced in project planning and tracking tools, for example Microsoft Project

• Work closely with the Product Owner and Line Management to create and track project tasks and schedules and alignment with release planning and sprint planning.

• Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the team's ability to deliver the sprint goal.

• Must have the ability to take ownership of major aspects of the project lifecycle and work closely with the Product Owner, Architects and developers to ensure all activities are recorded and understood on the plan.

• Manage the communication and dependencies between the core engineering team and other teams and facilitate timely deliverables.

• Articulate tasks/deadlines/issues/concerns and escalate to senior management.

• Ensure all open issues and project risks are tracked and driven to resolution with vendors

• Working closely with Product Owner, Technical Architects and Developers to determine the optimal project plan based on business prioritization and on resource and funding constraints.

Skills required

• A degree achieved in a technical discipline.

• At least 3-5 years Experience of all project management skill-sets including Change Management, requirements capture, document Control.

• Experience of working as a software developer.

• Experience in working according to agile methodology.

• Experience in using Microsoft Project.

• Ability to understand technical issues, troubleshoot and resolve.

• Knowledge of Release management process / Software configuration management.

• Ability to produce quality project documentation.

• Ability to apply analytical thinking to address complex business issues.

• The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills because the speaking language both in Lund and the rest of the sites is English .

Personal skills needed

For tis role you need to be down to earth, organized, confident in your opinions yet humble. You need to be self-motivated, persistent and a great problem solver . The right candidate also needs to have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving environment and be pragmatic. You need to like and be good at creating structure and processes from a helicopter perspective. The right candidate also needs to have great people skills and be diplomatic.
