We have as of 2016 implemented SAFe process for lean software development and systems engineering and now we are looking for a combined Release Train Engineer and Scrum Master to take in the important role of leading the activities and coaching of our MES Release Train. The MES Release Train develops our MES Suite Platform, delivered to our customer under the brand of Tetra Pak PlantMaster Solutions, and in addition to bringing significant value to our Food and Beverage customers, the platform is core of ongoing Internet of Things and Digitalization transformation.
We have 3-4 Scrum teams (approx. 30 Development Engineers in total) delivering to the release train and you will work closely with them and the other SAFe roles including Product Managers, Product and Business Owners.
Included in the position is also to ensure an agile mindset across our activities and identify continuous improvements in our SAFe and lean development framework and process implementation.
Main responsibilities
• Release Train Engineer for our MES release Train
• Scrum master in MES Scrum teams
• Coaching of our other release train engineers and scrum masters
• Develop the RTE and Scrum master role further, based on our needs
• Drive agile mindset and capability buildup across the organisation
• Identify continuous improvements in our SAFe and lean development framework and processes.
Qualifications
We are looking for a leader with knowledge within the SAFe process and/or extensive experience with agile SW development methodologies, knowing how to leverage on the agile development methodologies and mindset. You are a "people person" with strong leadership profile including coaching experience.
You like to lead, drive and facilitate teams for excellence in performance. Building networks in order to understand and solve obstacles comes natural to you.
You have a technical education, preferable from University. You have extensive experience from product development or similar. Special attention will be paid to candidates with scrum master and/or agile coaching experience or other leadership roles driving change activities. You have excellent command of both written and verbal English.
