Let's make a difference in finance for the many people
You will join the Digital Delivery organization that currently has one ART setup, consisting of five tribes, with approximately 19 squads (agile teams) in total. We are currently in a ramp-up phase which means that soon we will have more than one ART, additional squads and we need you in this journey!
Your team colleagues in the Delivery chapter are working as Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, Tribe leads, Project Managers and Agile Coaches and are spread across Europe. You will be interacting closely with other team members from our chapters such as architecture, requirement & products and automation & processes plus other key stakeholders.
What you will do
• Build solid relationships with the squad and create a trusting environment
• Facilitate all scrum and SAFe events and ceremonies
• Facilitate preparation and readiness for ART events
• Support the Product Owner in helping the squad to focus on daily and Iteration Goals in the context of the current Program Increment (PI) Objectives
• Make sure communication is flowing well between the squad and other stakeholders
• Facilitate the squad's progress towards team goals and objectives - improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity
• Coordinate with other squads - The Scrum Master supports the team's efforts to continuously improve communications and relationships with other teams
• Coach squads to ensure they make realistic estimates and do not overcommit.
• Gather, document and instill learnings
• Work closely with Tribe Leads to coach, empower and support teams
• Encourage self-organization and ownership
• Support SAFe adoption - The Scrum Master supports the overall adoption of SAFe across the enterprise by coaching stakeholders and other non-agile teams on effective interactions with agile teams and participating in the Scrum Master Community of Practice
• Be an active member in Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE)
Key competencies
• Experience and knowledge of SAFe framework and agile methods is a must
• Experience of Scrum/Kanban practices
• Skills to create a safe environment for meaningful collaboration and healthy conflict resolution
• Being open and appreciating openness in others
• Experience from the banking / financial industry is a plus
• SAFe Scrum Master certification is a plus
• Experience working with squads consisting of consultants is a plus
