The group TGRPCEV is responsible for developing the engine valve train at Conventional Engines development and is currently comprised of eight development engineers and three test engineers, who are situated at the Scania Technical Centre in Södertälje.
As a Scrum Master at Conventional Engines development, you will work cross-functionally within Scania and our partner brands within the Traton group and have daily contacts with our cross functions.
Job Responsibilities
• Be the link between the projects and the line organisation from early stages in concept development, during industrialisation, face up until the start of customer order production.
• Know different project steering models
• Establish cross-functionally aligned time plans to secure correct deliveries with optimal cost and quality on time.
• Strive to seek knowledge and use the processes and tools necessary for the role.
• Have relevant technical knowledge to be able to ask the right questions from the right people at the right time.
• Contribute to improving our work methods continuously
Your profile
You have a technical degree of at least bachelor's level or equivalent. Experience in leadership, especially project management, is required in the role. You are perhaps a scrum master/object manager curious to broaden your technical scope, or a driven designer, quality engineer, or purchaser today, and you are seeking new challenges and to develop your leadership skills.
You are structured, organised and people-oriented and can communicate fluently in English (requirement) and Swedish (meritorious). As a scrum master, you often sit in the middle of the flow of information, which requires a communicative and pedagogical ability by being able to explain, present and report to both steering groups and management groups, as well as to those who will perform the job. You should be good at getting others on board towards the same goal and be used to running meetings and working groups. An administrative ability and a sense of order make it easier. As a scrum master, a positive attitude, an unpretentious approach and humour are also important tools.

In addition to personal and professional development opportunities, benefits such as a company car, mutual bonus, occupational pension, flexible working hours, lunch at a reduced price and much more. If you live in Stockholm, we offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje, Scania Job Express.
