IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

Globalization, digitalization and mobility are examples of trends that are affecting our business environment. We are increasing our ability to make use of our information assets and utilize new technology. New possibilities enable us to share data with each other, apply machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The work environment at Scania's IT department is international and our employees are representing many different nationalities and countries. To this exciting and dynamic environment we are now looking for a new colleague who can help us become even better and play a key role in our team.

Your responsibility

We want our teams to be autonomous and agile, always working closely together with our customers. In your role as Scrum Master you will help the team become more efficient and deliver with higher quality by removing impediments and work with continuous improvements. In addition to the Scrum Master tasks you will also ensure that system changes are planned and communicated, incidents are handled within the agreed timeframe and that action is taken to prevent future recurrence.

Your profile

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Self-motivation and an ability to lead others
• The commitment and motivation to work with others to deliver, simplify and improve
• A sound ability to create good customer and supplier contacts
• Experience of leadership roles
• Good knowledge of software development (for example front- and back end technologies or testing)
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Swedish
• A university education within IT or equivalent experience

We expect our future Scrum Master to be organized, driven and have a strong service-minded approach. To be successful in this role you will also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within both IT and business. You are a team player, but also capable of working independently. We believe that you have experience from working with IT and are familiar with the application lifecycle and release management.
