Connectivity at Scania is one of the key components in Scania "driving the shift" strategy. At Connected Systems, we develop and operate Scanias IoT solution. It span from in-vehicle, via Telecom to the Scania back-end platform.
Scania is one of Stockholm's largest software companies and we build our software around a product that weighs over 3,5 ton, traveling in 90 km/h and that is the blood vein of our society (the transport system).
Connectivity in general is all about Data. Data in large volumes in a flexible and usable way is a key success factor for organisations that want to survive the digital shift. Scania today have over 600.000 (and counting) vehicles and other products connected online. The department Connected Systems is looking for a scrum master to help us drive the development of new connectivity solutions in our projects within electrification, autonomy and data streaming.

You will be a member in our DevOps teams. As a team member you will design, develop, deploy and monitor the solutions within your area of responsibility. We believe that we get the best solutions if the team is responsible for the entire IoT function. This means that your team write code both in the vehicle (Linux, C++) as well as in backend (AWS, Python).
We give you an environment that apply agile working methods and where the teams are responsible for their services all the way from requirement handling, development, quality assurance, deployment and operations.

At Scania R&D, within the Connectivity unit, we work with the future's sustainable transport system and the connected vehicle. Our responsibility is to ensure that data from the vehicles can be used by the various connected services, to generate as much customer value as possible. You get a key role in shaping tomorrow's connected transport system.
As a scrum master you will be leading the team as well as being a senior developer in the team.
We see our scrum masters as key in our success. The scrum master shall make sure that the team perform at its best, that the team have a reasonable workload, tutor new teammates, make sure that the team have a continuous learning(retro) and leading the day-to-day work.
You will work in a team with both junior and senior developers. We work according to SAFe and you will be a part of the team that ensures the whole departments delivery. This means that you take part in scrum of scrums and other SAFe related activities.
Who you are
